Yearbooks on Sale

Yes! There will be yearbooks for 2019 - 2020 -- we are including coverage of both normal school and distance learning. To purchase, please go to https://www.balfour.com/ and search for Shepherd High School or Shepherd MIddle School (for the PreK - 8th grade book). Make sure you get the correct town and just follow the online directions to purchase! As usual, the books will be delivered in the fall when we start school back up.

PEG Program

In 1995, the Texas Legislature created the Public Education Grant (PEG) program (TEC §§29.201– 29.205). The PEG program permits a parent whose child attends a school on the PEG List to request a transfer to another school within their home district or to a school in a different district.
The information on this page is intended to help districts and parents understand and make appropriate use of the PEG program.

1. What is the PEG program?

Campus Improvement Public Meeting

We would like to invite all interested parents and community members to attend a Campus Improvement Meeting on Oct. 16th at 4:30 in the Primary School cafeteria. We will conduct a public meeting to review the performance rating for our campus, our campus performance objectives and to accept input on the Targeted Improvement Plan for our campus.

Parents and Friends of Shepherd Primary Students

With the Thanksgiving Holiday ending, this would be a good time to wash jackets, hats, book bags, lunchboxes, etc. and help us fight the spread of influenza. You may want to wipe items with Clorox type wipes if washing is not recommended. Help keep ALL OUR CHILDREN AND TEACHERS healthy!

Fundraiser Party Bus
