Exciting News: Scholastic Book Fair Returns!
Shepherd Intermediate is thrilled to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair will be open from February 3rd to February 7th. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore a wide variety of books and discover new favorites. Additionally, we invite parents to join us for Parents' Night on February 4th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Don’t forget to add funds to your eWallets to make purchasing books easy and convenient!
Why Book Fairs Are Beneficial for Schools and Students
Book fairs play a significant role in promoting literacy and a love for reading among students. They provide access to a diverse selection of books that cater to various interests and reading levels, making it easier for students to find something they enjoy. This fosters a positive reading culture within the school, encouraging students to read more frequently and enhancing their overall academic performance. Moreover, the funds raised during the book fair directly support school programs and resources, benefiting the entire school community. Participating in the book fair is not just about buying books; it's about investing in our students' future and cultivating their passion for learning.
